I Don’t Need Another Twitter Feed

Abandoning @fredhq For Now

A discovery posted
about backtracking & twitter.

If you were one of the five people that followed @fredhq on Twitter: thank you, but you don't have to do that anymore.

I’ve decided that that didn’t really make sense at all, and that you will most likely still get all of the links to my site through my normal @fredleblanc feed anyway. I do not want to be that guy that tweets on my @fredhq account and then retweets the message immediately after on @fredleblanc. That doesn’t make sense from a user-standpoint.

I’ve been considering contacting Twitter to see if I could just wholly switch my @fredleblanc username over to @fredhq, but I wonder if that would confuse people even further. It would actually be better in terms of Twitter because it is fewer characters, freeing up five precious characters for you to write even more at me in your replies. Alas, time will tell. One step at a time. Etc.

So for now, don’t worry about @fredhq. The five of you that were following it are already following me at @fredleblanc anyway, so no worries there. But thanks to you five for jumping on. I appreciate the support!
